1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If your region requires a higher minimum age for consenting to online services without parental involvement, you must meet that age or have verifiable parental/guardian consent — we may ask for a parent or guardian's email during signup where applicable.

You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Let us know immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

2. Your content & the license you grant us

You retain ownership of the videos, images, comments, and other content you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant VideoHost [Beta] a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transcode, distribute, publicly display, and stream Your Content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service (for example: generating thumbnails, alternate resolutions/qualities, captions, and making your public content viewable to other users).

You must own Your Content or have the necessary rights and permissions to upload it. You're solely responsible for Your Content and the consequences of posting it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to upload, stream, or share content that:

  • Is illegal, or depicts, promotes, or facilitates illegal activity;
  • Sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way — we have zero tolerance for this and will remove such content, terminate the associated account(s), and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or law enforcement as required by law;
  • Infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property or privacy rights (see Copyright / DMCA Policy);
  • Contains graphic violence, terrorism or violent extremism, or credible threats of harm;
  • Constitutes harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse of individuals or groups;
  • Is spam, scams, or deliberately deceptive/misleading in a way that could cause real-world harm;
  • Impersonates another person or organization in a misleading way.

Full detail on what's and isn't allowed lives in our Community Guidelines, which are part of these Terms.

4. Content review & enforcement

Uploads go through a review process before becoming publicly visible, combining automated scanning of video, audio, and text (titles, descriptions, comments) with human review for anything flagged or ambiguous. Any user can report content or accounts they believe violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines directly from the Service; reports are triaged the same way.

We may remove content, restrict its visibility, apply age or content warnings, demonetize it, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without prior notice where warranted (for example, to prevent imminent harm or comply with the law).

6. Live streaming

These Terms and our Community Guidelines apply to live streams exactly as they do to uploaded video — including our automated and human moderation. We may end a live stream in progress if it violates these Terms.

7. Membership plans & billing

Some features (such as ad-free viewing, higher resolutions, offline downloads, and sponsor-segment skipping) require a paid membership plan. Plan features, pricing, and available billing cycles are shown on our Plans page and may change from time to time — we'll show you current pricing before you subscribe or change plans.

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account's Billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise. Fees already charged are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Family plan

The Family plan lets the plan owner invite a limited number of members by email. Invited members must accept the invitation to join, and the plan owner may remove members at any time. Member entitlements are tied to the family subscription remaining active.

9. Creator monetization

Creators may be eligible to earn revenue from advertising and viewer support features (such as Super Thanks), subject to our monetization policies, applicable upload/storage limits for their creator role, and ongoing compliance with these Terms and our Community Guidelines. We may withhold or reclaim earnings associated with content later found to violate these Terms, or with fraudulent/invalid activity.

10. Payment processors

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (currently Stripe and/or PayPal). We don't store your full card number. Use of those processors is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings.

12. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
