1. Zero-tolerance content

2. Prohibited content

Beyond the zero-tolerance rule above, the following isn't allowed anywhere on the Service:

  • Illegal content — anything that violates applicable law, or instructions for carrying out illegal or seriously dangerous acts.
  • Violent extremism & credible threats — content that promotes terrorism or violent extremist organizations, or threatens real people.
  • Graphic or gratuitous violence — real-world graphic violence shared to shock or glorify harm.
  • Adult sexual content — pornographic or sexually explicit content is not permitted on the Service.
  • Harassment & hate speech — targeted abuse, bullying, or content that attacks people based on protected characteristics (race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, etc.).
  • Privacy violations — sharing someone's private information without consent ("doxxing"), or non-consensual intimate imagery.
  • Spam, scams & deceptive practices — misleading links, fake engagement, phishing, or coordinated inauthentic activity.
  • Dangerous acts & challenges — content that encourages activities with a serious risk of physical harm, especially to minors.
  • Harmful misinformation — false claims likely to cause real-world harm (e.g. dangerous medical misinformation).

See our full Terms of Service for the legal framing of acceptable use.

4. Live streaming

Everything above applies in real time to live streams. Because live content can't be reviewed before it airs, streams that clearly violate these guidelines may be ended immediately, and repeated violations can result in loss of live-streaming access or account termination.

5. Comments & community interaction

Keep comments respectful. Harassment, hate speech, spam, and scam links in comments are removed the same as in video content, and repeat offenders can lose commenting privileges or their account.

6. How enforcement works

New uploads are reviewed before they're publicly visible, combining automated scanning (of video/audio content and of titles, descriptions, and comments) with human review for anything flagged or uncertain. Reports submitted by users go through the same triage process. Depending on severity, we may:

  • Remove the content, or restrict its visibility/age-gate it;
  • Demonetize the content;
  • Issue a strike against the account;
  • Suspend live-streaming or upload privileges;
  • Suspend or permanently terminate the account, for severe or repeated violations.

7. Reporting content

If you see something that violates these guidelines, use the Report option available on videos, comments, channels, and live streams (report categories include spam, harassment, copyright, privacy violations, impersonation, misinformation, and more). Reports are reviewed through the same automated + human process described above.
